Landscape painting is possibly one of the most freeing forms of painting, but where do you start? The basic principles will be covered in this workshop. We will look at basic mark making for our landscape composition and how to mix some simple landscape colours to use in our painting.

WORKSHOP STRUCTURE: 

• Understanding landscape structure
• Translating a landscape with simple mark making
• Mixing landscape colours from a basic pallette
• Painting a basic landscape using these principles 
• Undertaking a landscape painting to take home

The maximum capacity of workshops is four people so you can be assured of a relaxed session with plenty of individual attention if required.

The workshop will be held in my Bournemouth studio, 3 Shirley Road BH9 1SL.

Toilet facilities are available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please bring clothing protection and something to transport your painting home such as a plastic sheet or shallow box.
