My paintings are born from a love of being out in the elements, especially the areas surrounding where I live.
I interpret the experiences of time spent surrounded by the sights, sounds and feelings of the natural world.
My inspiration comes mainly from the South coast of England where I live in Dorset, into picturesque Devon & through to the rugged landscape of Cornwall.
My time as an artist has taken many diversions and afforded me various opportunities. Through time my work has been steered by experimentation with various techniques and materials, opening gateways to new ways of producing my art.
The journey of an artist never ends at a destination. It keeps moving onward, never to settle for too long before continuing along the road of experimentation and improvement.
