ABSTRACT LANDSCAPES IN OIL Mon 1Oth Feb 2025 2pm – 5pm Bournemouth

This workshop, held in my Bournemouth studio is designed for beginners or improvers. Landscape painting is one of the most popular subjects in art. This workshop will study the basics of abstract landscapes and help you construct your very own painting which you will take home at the end of the session.

SCHEDULE:

• Looking at the principles of landscapes
• Sketching out ideas for composition
• Mixing a simple palette of colours
  
• Creating a painting on a 40cm x 40cm board

What is included?

• All paints, tools & equipment
• Tea & Coffee

Please bring clothing protection e.g. apron or overalls. and a small box to take your wet painting home.

Toilet and hand washing facilities available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

My workshops are designed to teach the basic principles of various subjects, so you can apply them in your own artistic creations. I share the knowledge and experience of my time as a professional artist, gained from years of experimenting with various methods and techniques. 

All workshops are held in my private studio in a relaxed environment which helps make the painting process enjoyable. Creating art should be fun and inspiring  and my workshops endeavour to achieve this.

The maximum capacity of workshops is four people so you can be assured of a relaxed session with plenty of individual attention if required.
