ABSTRACT FIGURES IN OIL Mon 10th March 2025 10am - 1pm

Painting figures can seem complicated. This workshop held in my Bournemouth studio is designed to help simplify the process and develop the skill of painting human shapes in an abstract style with oil paint.

SCHEDULE:

• Simplifying the human form
• Sketching out ideas
• Using a simplified palette of colours
  
• Undertake an abstract painting on a 40cm square board (all materials included)

What is included?

• 40cm square painting panel
• All paints, tools & equipment
• Tea & Coffee

Please bring clothing protection e.g. apron or overalls. and a small box to take your wet painting home.

Toilet and hand washing facilities available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

My workshops are designed to teach the basic principles of various subjects, so you can apply them in your own artistic creations. I share the knowledge and experience of my time as a professional artist, gained from years of experimenting with various methods and techniques. 

All workshops are held in my private studio in a relaxed environment which helps make the painting process enjoyable. Creating art should be fun and inspiring  and my workshops endeavour to achieve this.

The maximum capacity of workshops is four people so you can be assured of a relaxed session with plenty of individual attention if required.
