LOOSENING UP WITH ACRYLIC PAINTING Wed 5th Feb 2025 2pm – 5pm Bournemouth

This workshop, held in my Bournemouth studio is designed for beginners or improvers. Painting can often make us tense because we're focusing so intently on getting things right. 

I often hear people say "I wish I could be looser or more expressive with my painting". It's true that learning certain techniques can improve the liveliness of a painting and it's these techniques that we'll look at in this valuable workshop.

SCHEDULE:

• Practicing loose sketches 
• Using a simplified palette of colours
• Looking at how paint fluidity affects our painting
  
• Creating a painting on a 40cm x 40cm board using techniques to loosen up

What is included?

• All paints, tools & equipment
• Tea & Coffee

Please bring clothing protection e.g. apron or overalls. and a small box to take your wet painting home.

Toilet and hand washing facilities available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

My workshops are designed to teach the basic principles of various subjects, so you can apply them in your own artistic creations. I share the knowledge and experience of my time as a professional artist, gained from years of experimenting with various methods and techniques. 

All workshops are held in my private studio in a relaxed environment which helps make the painting process enjoyable. Creating art should be fun and inspiring  and my workshops endeavour to achieve this.

The maximum capacity of workshops is four people so you can be assured of a relaxed session with plenty of individual attention if required.
