WORKSHOP FOR FOUR - BEGINNER / ADVANCED - BOURNEMOUTH

Have you got like minded friends who would love to try oil painting?

Designed for up to four people this workshop is held in my Bournemouth Studio and will cover the basics of planning an oil painting from initial ideas & sketches to a finished painting. It will provide the required guidance in specific areas or instruction from scratch for beginning artists.

Workshops are held in my Bournemouth studio, a comfortable, relaxed environment to enjoy making art. All materials are included in the price, all you need to bring is an apron or coverall and a box or old towel to lay your painting on for transport.

Whether you want to work in oil, acrylic, watercolour, charcoal, pastel or cold wax, this workshop will look at developing your skills and discovering what can be achieved with these mediums. Individuality is important in art so we can focus on a particular painting style such as abstract, expressive or impressionistic.

How it works:

Contact me with your preferred dates and I will reply to confirm availability. Once a time slot has been agreed, payment can be made by BACS and the workshop will be booked.  Usual workshop times are 10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm during the week but these can usually be flexible. Weekend sessions can be accomodated.

We can discuss preferences with regard to style of work and any information needed to tailor the session to your requirements.

All materials are included in this course.

Please bring any clothing protection such as coveralls or an apron.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

My workshops are designed to teach the basic principles of various subjects, so you can apply them in your own artistic creations. I share the knowledge and experience of my time as a professional artist, gained from years of experimenting with various methods and techniques. 

All workshops are held in my private studio in a relaxed environment which helps make the painting process enjoyable. Creating art should be fun and inspiring  and my workshops endeavour to achieve this.
