CREATING TEXTURE WITH IMPASTO OIL PAINTING - BOURNEMOUTH - Friday 7th November 6pm - 9pm

This oil painting workshop, taking place in my Bournemouth studio teaches beginners and improvers the fundamentals and principles of using impasto to add depth and atmosphere to paintings. Gain practical tips and demonstrations on how to effectively control this technique. By the end of the session, you will have a completed painting to take home.

Designed and priced for four people, this workshop is held in my Bournemouth Studio and will cover the following:

• Mixing a simplified palette of colours
• Looking at ways to thicken oil paint
• Ways of applying paint with a knife
  
• Creating a painting on a prepared board
  

Workshops are held in my Bournemouth studio, a comfortable, relaxed environment to enjoy making art. All materials are included in the price, all you need to bring is an apron or coverall and a box or old towel to lay your painting on for transport.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

My workshops are designed to teach the basic principles of various subjects, so you can apply them in your own artistic creations. I share the knowledge and experience of my time as a professional artist, gained from years of experimenting with various methods and techniques. 

All workshops are held in my private studio in a relaxed environment which helps make the painting process enjoyable. Creating art should be fun and inspiring  and my workshops endeavour to achieve this.
