ACRYLIC PAINTING WITH A PALETTE KNIFE Tues 4th Feb 2025 2pm – 5pm Bournemouth

This workshop, held in my Bournemouth studio is designed for beginners or improvers. Painting with nothing but a knife can free up the painting process in many ways. We will look at the ways we can make expressive marks from our initial sketch throughout the painting.

SCHEDULE:

• Sketching out ideas using a painting knife
• Using a simplified palette of colours
• Colour mixing & applying paint with a knife
  
• Creating a painting on a 40cm x 40cm board

What is included?

• All paints, tools & equipment
• Tea & Coffee

Please bring clothing protection e.g. apron or overalls. and a small box to take your wet painting home.

Toilet and hand washing facilities available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

My workshops are designed to teach the basic principles of various subjects, so you can apply them in your own artistic creations. I share the knowledge and experience of my time as a professional artist, gained from years of experimenting with various methods and techniques. 

All workshops are held in my private studio in a relaxed environment which helps make the painting process enjoyable. Creating art should be fun and inspiring  and my workshops endeavour to achieve this.

The maximum capacity of workshops is four people so you can be assured of a relaxed session with plenty of individual attention if required.
