ALL DAY WORKSHOP - PAINT A LARGE ABSTRACT SEASCAPE IN OILS- BOURNEMOUTH - Saturday January 11th 2025 - 10am - 4pm

The idea of painting in oils fills some people with fear. For others it opens up a new exciting world. If you fall into either of those categories, this workshop could be for you.

Designed to cover some of the main principles in oil painting and to simplify the processes that many find tricky. Suitable for beginners and those who have had some experience in oil painting. 

Held in my Bournemouth studio, this workshop is centred around painting a large abstract seascape and will help you create your own abstract masterpiece which you can take home.

The aim of the course is to teach basic principles which you can develop further as you wish. Painting should be fun and enjoyable so you can be assured of a friendly relaxed atmosphere to work in. The maximum capacity of each workshop is four people which allows for individual attention as required.

Schedule:

• Discussing basic principles of abstraction
• Developing and sketching out abstract ideas
• Mixing a basic colour pallette 
• Painting your own abstract based on your sketches

What is included?

• 60cm square painting panel
• All paints, tools & equipment
• Tea & Coffee

Please bring clothing protection e.g. apron or overalls. and a small box to take your wet painting home.

Toilet and hand washing facilities available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.
