ABSTRACTS IN ACRYLIC USING THREE BASIC SHAPES – Tues 21st Jan 2025 10am – 1pm

Abstract painting is a popular subject & holds a lot of interest for many, although sometimes it can feel a complicated thing to get your head round. 

This all inclusive workshop held in my Bournemouth studio is designed to help you approach abstracts in an easy to understand way using basic principles and just three shapes. The workshop is aimed at beginners or improvers to brush up on existing skills and techniques.

The maximum capacity of my workshops is four people so you can be assured of a relaxed, constructive session with plenty of individual attention if required.

WORKSHOP STRUCTURE:

• Brief overview of abstracts
• Mark making and planning our composition with charcoal or graphite.
• Painting an abstract composition on a 40cm square panel using acrylic paint.
• All materials included.
• Refreshments provided (tea / coffee / water)
• Toilet & handwashing facilities available.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to my studio.

Please bring any clothing protection such as coveralls or an apron and a shallow cardboard box at least 40cm x 40cm to safely transport your finished painting home
